The resistance is here and now at Saturn Birmingham! WeBuy is attempting to control the minds and wallets of the entire world, and we at TVs of Terror are not going to stand for it. They recently bought the entire month of November and dubbed it “Corporate Appreciation Month”. Gross! For the November event, they’ve even gone so far as to create “Corporate Appreciation Day” and told us we’re screening Cars 2. WHAT?!?!!?

That’s why we’re going to hit them where it hurts and show the ultimate “screw you” movie – John Carpenter’s They Live!

Nada arrives in LA with no money or prospects and immediately begins looking for work. He meets fellow down-and-out working man Frank and finds his way to a homeless encampment outside downtown. There, he discovers a group of resistance fighters operating out of a church and handing out…sunglasses. Once Nada sees through the glasses, his whole world turns upside down, and soon he finds himself on the run from any and every arm of authority in the city, all hellbent on taking him and his friends down and preserving the status quo.

In an attempt to stick it to the man ourselves, we’ll retain our normal FREE pizza, snacks, and popcorn routine, and we’ll make a special drink that’ll open your eyes wide to the horrible truth of WeBuy!
