“I AM PRODUCING A NEW THERMALS RECORD, with no label and no safety net,” the Thermals’ singer/guitarist Hutch Harris posted on Instagram on Feb. 28. “If you would like to support the record, and this band, the best way is by visiting our Bandcamp store. We have LPs, CDs, stickers, buttons, and of course the LYRIC COLLAGES that I love making. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!”

This will be the band’s eighth full-length album, and their first since 2016’s “We Disappear.” The announcement comes shortly after Hutch shared a brand new Thermals track, “In The Night Sky,” on Christmas Day 2025, which you can listen to right here (and below)!
