On her 16th birthday in 1975, Jackie Fox joined the teenage-sensation proto-punk band, the Runaways. She departed in 1977 at just 17 and never played music professionally again. Decades later, Fox made headlines by accusing Kim Fowley, the Runaways’ late manager, of drugging and raping her in front of her bandmates. Turning her traumatic past into something positive, Fox has now created a board game inspired by her experiences in the late-’70s music industry. The game aims to be far less traumatic, offering players a chance to navigate the music business without the darker realities she faced.
