Apple TV+ is set to bring back its beloved soccer comedy *Ted Lasso* for a fourth season, according to Deadline. This development comes despite previous indications that season three would mark the end of the Emmy-winning series. The streamer has recently renewed the contracts of key cast members, including Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Walton), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins), signaling the continuation of the story.
While Jason Sudeikis, who stars as the titular character and co-created the show, has not yet inked a deal, it’s unlikely that Apple would proceed without his blessing. The report also suggests that Apple TV+ plans to secure the return of Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) and Juno Temple (Keeley Jones), aiming to kick off production in early 2025.
Sudeikis previously hinted that the third season would conclude the story he envisioned, describing it as a complete three-season arc. The season three finale indeed felt like a fitting conclusion, leaving fans both satisfied and yearning for more. However, with the series’ immense popularity and critical acclaim, it seems Apple TV+ is not ready to say goodbye just yet.
